Perimeter

Perimeter is the distance all around the edge of a shape. If we needed to build a fence all around our garden we would measure the perimeter of the garden.
So to find the perimeter of this rectangle we need add 7 cm + 7 cm + 3cm + 3 cm = 20 cm

They are used to explain how (manner), when (time) or where (place) something happens. A fronted adverbial is separated from the main clause with a comma. For example:  Early one morning,  Rohan went for a run in the park. The blue highlighted sections are all examples of fronted adverbials. Use these examples of fronted adverbials to finish the sentences. As I looked out of my window, Up in the sky, When I went for a walk, Next to the winding path, In the garden, On the kitchen table, In the corner of my bedroom, Challenge - can you think /find your own fronted adverbials and make up your own sentences?
