What can you find out about Saltaire?

Show me what you have found out. It might be in the form of a picture or a model, or a poster. It is up to you and you can be as creative as you want.

This is painting of Salts Mill by the Bradford artist David Hockney. Maybe you could produce your own picture of the mill or Saltaire in the style of Hockney. However, you might want to choose your own style. Look carefully at the shapes and sizes you can see and use your imagination.

   Fronted Adverbials https://www.thenational.academy/year-3/english/setting-description-spag-focus-fronted-adverbial-phrases-year-3-wk2-4 A  fronted adverbial  is a word, phrase or clause that is placed at the start of a sentence. They are used to explain how (manner), when (time) or where (place) something happens. A fronted adverbial is separated from the main clause with a comma. For example:  Early one morning,  Rohan went for a run in the park. The blue highlighted sections are all examples of fronted adverbials. Use these examples of fronted adverbials to finish the sentences. As I looked out of my window, Up in the sky, When I went for a walk, Next to the winding path, In the garden, On the kitchen table, In the corner of my bedroom, Challenge - can you think /find your own fronted adverbials and make up your own sentences?
