Write you own sound collector poem.  Can you listen to the sounds in different rooms in your house and maybe in your outside area and use the sounds in poem?

To be successful:

·         Set out your poem in verses – each room could be a new verse

·         4 lines in each verse

·         Use expanded noun phrases to describe

·         Using interesting , powerful vocabulary

·         It can rhyme

·         It can use alliteration ( where the same sound is repeated e.g. ten tired tigers)
Look back at the Sound Collector poem to help you set your poem out correctly.

Remember to re-read and check your poem.
